What can you expect on this course?
Real French
Through the four skills of speaking, listening, reading and writing, you will learn how to use French in many real-life situations. You will develop your understanding of grammar, vocabulary and idioms, and learn the secrets of perfect pronunciation.
Through relevant and engaging lessons, you will practise the four skills of everyday French: reading, writing, speaking and listening.
Learn by Doing
We believe there is nothing better for improving your linguistic skills than using them as much as you can. Our lessons are task-based, which means they promote the active production of the French language through class participation and lots of interaction between you and your fellow students.
Improve Your ‘Thinking Time’
As your skills and confidence develop, so will your ability to listen, understand and respond quickly and effectively in French. You will notice this improvement in your ‘thinking time’ most of all when you take your French outside of the classroom and into everyday conversation in beautiful Montreal!

Authentic Materials
There is no substitute for authentic French so in addition to textbooks, our teachers use real sources such as newspapers, the internet, TV and radio. You will learn to appreciate the richness of the language by gaining exposure to it in a variety of real-life contexts.
Students will have access to class sets, digital copies of the course book, as well as teacher handouts and it is recommended that students travel with their tablets and laptops for ease of study.
