Hello, my name is Renato Teixeira, and I’m student from EC Cape Town. I arrived in Cape Town in March of this year to study English. Though, once I arrived at school I could only study for 2 days. After that the school administration suggested that I study online until the government gave them the permission to open the school again. It was supposed to take only 1 month until we got back to school but in this period of time the cases in the South Africa had been rising dramatically and I could understand why we couldn’t come to school. Since that time, I was studying online for 6 or 7 months and now we’re back at school. We began on 26th October. The school administration has been doing a great job to make us safe: you have sanitizer in every corner; the toilets are always clean; the classrooms are very organized and are cleaned before and after each class with the proper space between students. I can say that we have a great atmosphere inside of the class even if we have students for different levels together. We have been going well mainly because our teacher, Richard Hill, has been doing an amazing work. I feel that me and my schoolmates are learning a lot with him. So, I can say that is good to be back. As a previous FCE Student at EC School, I only can give positive comments about my stay in Cape Town. I can't complain about anything, overall, I'm very satisfied! I lived in Mountain View Residence in Bo-Kaap, which is an EC accommodation. Andrea and Sylvia, both took care of the students and the residence in general. They did everything to make us feel comfortable during our stay there. I want to say thanks to everyone I met at the EC School. I've never met such lovely and amazing people before! It was the best choice I've ever made to study English there. I'm also very amazed at how the school provide different kinds of activities - impossible to get bored in Cape Town. I really miss it, and if someone would ask me, I wouldn't think twice about going back! I was so amazed by Cape Town, that I'm considering living and work there for a few years someday. Thank you, EC School, for helping to improve my English and for memories I won't forget!

United States to learn English. In these countries it is always the same thing; big cities, big clubs, big shopping malls and nothing else to do. Actually, if you ask a student where he went to learn English I’m sure that the student will answer one of these countries. Nobody realizes how amazing South Africa is! Cape Town is a mix between big cities and wildlife. There are a lot of activities to do like sky diving, the world’s highest bungee jump, many different safaris, riding elephants or an ostrich, surf, sand surf…The views from the sea is amazing. About the school, you learn English in a good atmosphere. All the teachers are very good. I’m actually living with a host family. For me this is the better way to learn English correctly and watch the way of life of the South African people.

"Likely to Recommend: 10 - Extremely Likely" I saw a beautiful city and country. I saw so many different cultures. I met nice, warm, very friendly and open people. I had the opportunity to share my feelings and emotions with my classmates and teachers. I took part in very interesting English lessons that gave me a lot of experiences and practice not only in English speaking. I saw well qualified staff and teachers, who patiently explained details. I could taste African food and local beer and wine. I could see African everyday life. Two weeks was too short but great. Learning English is finally a long process and perhaps never-ending. I tried to speak as much as possible at school and on the streets of CT, in the shops and in your school as well. That is why I decided to arrive to South Africa completely alone. I really tried to be an active student. Really appreciate efforts all teachers I met. Their approach to us, students of your school, their patience and understanding will be for ever in my memory. At the residence, I met very friendly, helpful and open people and I could speak with after school. Not Hilton but everything was great, the accommodation gave me everyday opportunity to see your beautiful city, I walked everywhere practicing my English and understanding how important it is. Finally, I could encourage others to talk to me, in English of course! Too short stay in CT unfortunately, I had to go back to my work, that I love very much. I really appreciate all your efforts. My three months in Cape Town! I decided to take time off to improve my knowledge in English. I had no doubt in my mind where to go when I found South Africa as a destination - especially Cape Town! Cape Town is totally the best destination, my experience in this city is almost indescribable. Really beautiful weather, people, culture, birds, everything is different for me! The EC school is incredible, teachers are open-minded, friendly and really professional. My accommodation is completely perfect! I like my roommates. Cape Town is special for me, it is a unique experience. I'm still wondering why I did not come earlier. I'll repeat it again and again!
