I like the atmosphere of the city and I feel lucky that I am here. London is so beautiful city with all historical buildings. I like the location of EC which is central London. And in the school building, there are many modern classes with the libraries. I have been studying in here for 2 months. When I was coming here, I was so excited and a bit nervous. But I met my teacher and classmates and then I adapted quickly. I would recommend EC school because if they want to improve their English fluently it can be the best school to choose.

I chose EC because a friend recommended it to me. Before studying a master’s degree, I aim to see life in London. It is a wonderful experience in my life. The whole EC team is very sincere and supportive. Because of the liveliness of London, I am very satisfied. Even on my first day at EC London, I saw there is great teamwork here. Everyone is very friendly. Day by day, I feel more connected with EC and London. I cannot say there is only one unforgettable memory because every day is very important.

I choose EC London because of its location. I only stayed for a week, but my short stay helped me practise my speaking and I also learnt a lot of vocabulary. My favourite activity was the “English for Work” class. I think that EC’s method of teaching is very effective and I really enjoyed my course.

I first chose EC London because it is accredited by the British Council, but I keep coming back because of the quality of teaching, friendly atmosphere and great social programme. I remember my first time at the school and how the staff (teachers, coordinators, and secretaries) made me feel totally at ease. Beginning like this helped me improve my English step by step, surrounded by students from all over the world. I have come to EC London 15 times, and this school has helped me in every way to reach a proficient level of English.

I have been teaching English for almost ten years and have been organising exam courses since 2007. I am especially interested in the Cambridge Exams and enjoy teaching them as they push students to use a wide variety of language. I love teaching English as it is a different challenge every day and as well as my love for the language I get to meet many fascinating people. This allows me to learn from them and I believe in the classroom being a place for the exchange of ideas.

Working at EC is more than only having a job, it’s like having a second family. The environment is great, the staff are helpful and you never get bored as every day is a different day! I have successfully taught children, teenagers and adults in monolingual and in mixed nationality classes. At EC I had the chance to work in different departments as well as teaching. I had worked with Customer Service, in our lovely reception in EC London, and in the Admission office in EC Malta. I had also worked twice at our Junior school during the summer as a teacher and lately as the Academic Coordinator. Recently I have been teaching and organising the social programme at EC London. I absolutely love my job!

EC London is quite simply the best TEFL/TESOL language school I have taught at. Why? Because it has a sound professional and practical basis which provides members of staff and students with a challenging yet protective place of work. I was born in London and have returned to my roots! I enjoy teaching English, first, because I believe the language has a part to play in communication world-wide and, secondly, because I love the rhythm, cadences and vast vocabulary of the language.

I enjoy watching the progress that students make and appreciating how this will help them to achieve their learning goals. What I love about London is feeling that I have my finger on the pulse of the world in South Africa, we rarely have international celebrities that come for Premieres, or famous artists that exhibit their work. In London, this is all normal! I love teaching at EC because I have fantastic colleagues and students, and there is a professional yet relaxed atmosphere.
