EC offers programmes from 1 week to the Academic Year programme which lasts 24 or 36 weeks. The benefit of this is students can immerse themselves fully in a city and use the language in daily situations and become fluent in this time.

The EC Promise guarantees that if a student attends 90% of classes and actively participates in them and does their homework, they will progress through the internationally recognised levels in 8 week cycles. B2 is the level required for Canadian Universities and a B2+ is the general standard for emigration purposes to most of the English speaking countries.

Accommodation prices are better value too with many not incurring a peak-season price rise if the period of study these times.
