Description of Local Area

The Wall Street Apartments are located on world-famous Wall Street in Lower Manhattan. Centrally located amongst world famous banks and historic landmarks, the Wall Street Apartments provides the right blend of Manhattan hustle and bustle with New York City tradition. Students will enjoy walking the cobblestone pathways to access the local bars and restaurants on Stone Street, the oldest street in New York City. Additionally, with the Wall Street Subway station only one street away, students can easily travel to other areas of New York City.

Description of Accommodation

The Wall Street apartments are shared apartments in a luxury high-rise building. Students will be amazed by the high end furnishings in their rooms and the extensive amenities within the building. The four bedroom apartment has two bathrooms: one is an en-suite bathroom for one of the bedrooms and the other bathroom is shared for the remaining three bedrooms.
Master Bedroom – has its own personal en-suite bathroom and closet within the sleeping space. 
Deluxe Bedroom – has ample room to move around with a closet within the sleeping space. The bathroom for this bedroom is in the main hallway.
Economy Bedroom – has the smallest floor plan as the space has been converted from the common areas of the apartment. This room type may have a open gap between one of the walls to the ceiling. The bathroom and closet for this room are in the main hallway, but there is ample storage space for belongings within the sleeping space as well. The bedroom is closed with an accordion folding door. 

The apartment offers in-unit washer and dryer as well as a fully equipped kitchen with major appliances and kitchenware. Each student room has a flat screen television already connected with Netflix, streaming service, and relevant applications. The building has a 24 hour concierge, study and work areas, a library, games room, gym with yoga studio, golf simulator, bar, and rooftop with patio. The amenities are state of the art and provide students with all they need for a comfortable stay.

Arrival and departure

  • Arrival day: Saturday (Sunday arrival is possible).
    Check in: 15:00
    Early Check in is not allowed. Student is asked to wait in the common spaces of the apartment building.

    Late check out is not allowed but student can wait in the common areas.

Journey to school

Subway: 20 minutes approx
Cycle: 30 minutes approx
The most convenient way for students to travel to EC is by Subway, approximately a 20-minute journey. To travel to the school, please follow the directions below:
1. Walk to Wall Street Station.
2. Board the Number 2 or Number 3 trains going uptown.
3. Get off at 42nd Street/Times Square Station.
4. Exit at the Southeast Corner of 41st Street and 7th Avenue.
5.Walk Northwest on West 41st toward 7th Ave.
6. Turn right onto 7th Ave.
7. The school is located at 1501 Broadway.


Cancellation prior to arrival

Students cancelling or postponing 14 days or less prior to their accommodation dates will be charged a two-week accommodation fee at the rate quoted in the price list for the accommodation booked and the accommodation placement fee.

Cancellation after arrival

Students leaving their accommodation must give notice in writing 4 weeks prior to termination. If the 4-week notice period is not provided a cancellation fee equal to 4 weeks of the accommodation cost will apply.  After deducting the price of accommodation used at the rate quoted in the price list, including the required notice period charged at the same rate, students will be refunded the remaining accommodation costs.

Other ways to get to your residence

  • Take the Air Train to Jamaica Station
  • Take the Sutphin Boulevard – Archer Avenue E train towards the World Trade Center Transfer at the Fulton Street Subway Station to the 2 train.
  • Take the 2 Train Downtown towards Brooklyn.
  • Get off at the Wall Street Station.
  • Walk Southeast on Wall Street for about 2 minutes.

Arrival Procedures

Check-in process

Please keep in mind that upon arriving, you will have a brief orientation of the residence. It is important to notify the residence greeter of your arrival in advance. It is very important to follow the arrival instructions that you will receive from us. Please:

  • Contact the numbers below at least one day in advance
  • Provide your flight details or an estimated arrival time as soon as it is known
  • When you arrive at the airport, call and confirm when you will arrive at the residence.


These steps will help you to meet the residence staff in the lobby without any problem or delay. The staff will provide you with keys and a detailed orientation to the facility, including the gym and other amenities.

Check-out process When you check out, please leave your keys on your desk in your room. If the keys are not returned, there is a charge for lost keys- $20 charge for lost keys. $60 charge for lost key fobs. If a change of locks is required, you will be responsible for all related costs.

  • The residence can keep student's luggage for early arrival/late check out
  • Fittings and fixtures may be different than the images displayed
  • While we promote and support diversity, we cannot guarantee language mix. However, we always encourage students to use English to communicate, be respectful and inclusive of others
  • EC provides a clean living space for all students and expects a basic level of respect from all students. For example, if something is dropped, pick it up; do not leave clothes and belongings on the floor; place rubbish and leftovers in a garbage bag
