  • Cleaning service is provided by hotel staff. Common areas maintained as well as daily bedroom and bathroom, fresh towels. Students do not need to provide their own cleaning materials
  • No service for students to do their own laundry on site, however they can use the hotels laundry services which, if provided by 8am, can be returned to students on the same day. Prices are per item and include wash, dry and iron. There is also a launderette 10 mins walk from the hotel

Situated within the grounds of Manchester University this classic and convenient hotel is an 8-minute walk from Manchester Oxford Road train station and a 7-minute walk from EC Manchester.

Description of Accommodation

Each reserved room has a double or single bed, flat screen television, full length mirror, 300mb/s Wifi, fresh towels and bed linens and daily room cleaning service. Breakfast, lunch and dinner can be provided via room service for an additional cost.

Cancellation prior to arrival

Students cancelling or postponing 14 days or less prior to their accommodation dates will be charged a two-week accommodation fee at the rate quoted in the price list for the accommodation booked and the accommodation placement fee.

Cancellation after arrival

Students leaving their accommodation must give notice in writing 4 weeks prior to termination. If the 4-week notice period is not provided a cancellation fee equal to 4 weeks of the accommodation cost will apply.  After deducting the price of accommodation used at the rate quoted in the price list, including the required notice period charged at the same rate, students will be refunded the remaining accommodation costs.

Airport Pickup

If you have booked a transfer with EC your driver will meet you in the arrivals lounge of the terminal you arrive into. They will have a board with your name on it. The driver will monitor your flight through their system so don't worry if your flight is early or late. If there are any problems you should call the EC emergency phone number on 00447474460908.

Other ways to get to your residence

If students have not requested an airport transfer with EC Manchester they can get to the hotel by train, departing at from Manchester airport and arriving into Manchester Piccadilly station. Alternatively, Uber or one of the taxis from the rank will cost around 25£.

Arrival Procedures

Students should check-in at reception. The hotel will already have their information and will be able to assist them with any room or amenity queries.

House Rules

  • Students must be 18+ to use this accommodation
  • Mixed Gender: Male and female students share common areas and facilities, but bedrooms are single gender
  • Students will be asked to pay 1 week deposit, amount of 235£ which can be paid either by cash or credit card
  • One guest is allowed and can stay overnight
  • Smoking is not permitted
  • While we promote and support diversity, we cannot guarantee language mix. However, we always encourage students to use English to communicate, be respectful and inclusive of others
  • EC provides a clean living space for all students and expects a basic level of respect from all students. For example, if something is dropped, pick it up; do not leave clothes and belongings on the floor; place rubbish and leftovers in a garbage bag
