Update to Visa’s for Malta

From 1st May 2024 ldentita (MALTA) will make the following changes in the VISA application process for students from VISA exempt countries.

   Over 12 weeks courseAll students must apply for a long-stay visa (D Visa), also called study visa, prior to arrival via VFS.GLOBAL.
 
Under 12 weeks course
Students can enter with their exemption and will be eligible to apply for an extension if they decide to extend their course.

Students from Visa exempt countries that do not have a VFS office in their country may enter with their passport and apply for a VISA extension upon arrival in Malta.

By applying for a visa via the VFS the student can use the 90-day VISA exemption after the end of their course.
