EC London’s new building in trendy Islington – opens 3rd October 2022

EC Language centres has today announced it is moving its London English school from Euston to a prestigious, historic building at No.1, Islington High Street, London, on 3rd October, 2022.  The new site gives the organisation the capacity to handle 225 students while maintaining its average class size at just 12.

“This historic building is wholly occupied by EC. We think our students will love our new school which is situated in one of the most vibrant and cosmopolitan areas of the city. The school is conveniently located opposite Angel underground station in trendy Islington,” said Andrew Mangion, CEO and Chairman of EC Language Centres. “The new EC London English language school is newly refurbished, has interactive TVs in all classrooms and a lift to all floors with a floor dedicated to our age 30+ students. This means they have their own classrooms, refreshment area and lounge.”

The new facility will also be headed up by Isabel Ribero, Regional Centre Director. “We look forward to welcoming students to our new location in the beating heart of London.”

EC was established in Malta in 1991 and today has 22 schools around the world in USA, Canada, South Africa, U.K, Ireland and Malta, teaching English to all age groups. EC has separate programmes for students who need to have a particular level of English to enter international universities, for the 30+, business people and the over 50s. They also offer online classes and are market leaders with an innovative Virtual Reality education school, Simmula.
