Arrival

Arrival at Airport

I want an EC airport transfer, can I arrive at any time?
If you have booked accommodation with EC you must arrive at the airport between 08:00 and 20:00. Late/early arrivals may be asked to book alternative accommodation.

What information do I need to give to book an airport transfer?
Please provide your flight number, arrival time, terminal and airport of origin – minimum 2 weeks in advance.

Who will I meet at the airport?
There are two meeting points at the Dublin Airport. If you arrive in Terminal 1, you should go to AMT Coffee, which is located to the right as you come out of the arrival gate. If you arrive in Terminal 2, you should go to the large yellow sculpture, which is located directly opposite the arrival gate. The driver will be waiting at the appropriate meeting point in Terminal 1 or Terminal 2, holding an EC sign with your name on it.

What should I do if I cannot find the EC representative?
If after 10 minutes you cannot see your driver, please contact our emergency number +353 1 531 0255 (Useful phrase to use: Hi, My name is (Maria Angeli). I am from (Italy). I cannot find my EC representative. I am waiting in the arrivals area).

What should I do if I have missed my flight or my flight is delayed?
You should notify EC by calling +353 1 531 0255 to rearrange your transfer time and avoid additional cost. Useful phrase to use: My name is (Maria Angeli). I am from (Italy). My flight has been changed. My new flight number is (1234) arriving at (time).

What should I do if I haven’t booked an EC transfer?
There are a few different buses that leave from Dublin airport (T1) that take you to the city centre. The Airlink 747 or 757 (€7 single ticket or €12 return) which is the most direct route. Air Coach (€6 single ticket or €11 return). The number 16 (Dublin bus) which costs €3.20 (have exact money as no change will be provided). It takes 30 to 45 minutes from the airport to the city centre. The number 16 also stops a three minute walk away from the school location. We recommend students staying for 1 day up to 7 days to get a Visitor’s Leap Card which allows them to use any form of public transport as much as they like:
• 1 day (24 hours) – €10.00
• 3 days (72 hours) – €19.50
• 7 days (168 hours) – €40.00

Prices are subject to change. For more information, please visit the links above.
