Originally founded in 1885, Roedean is one of the most prestigious and well know independent boarding schools in the UK. The school offers excellent facilities, including 40 acres of playing fields and space for several activities. Students’ accommodation is based in the boarding houses which consists of mostly single rooms and some twin and multi-bed rooms.

Learning

  • Placement test on day 1 to ensure students are in a class of the appropriate level
  • Maximum 17 students per class
  • We teach all levels, from beginner to advanced.
  • All courses include learning resources, materials appropriate to students age and level, and an end of course report and certificate.

Welcome

On the first evening, there will be a welcome activity which is designed to ensure students have the opportunity to meet staff and other students and get to know more about the campus, its facilities and useful information which will help them during their stay.

Activities

On-site activities and half-day trips are scheduled on weekdays before or after lessons. Full-day trips are at the weekends.

All activities are designed to continue learning in a fun and enjoyable way, encouraging students to develop life skills and make new friends through sport, activities and socially interactive games.
