Costa Verde Village is located just a few minutes from La Jolla Village Square and University Towne Centre (UTC) shopping mall. Downtown San Diego is reachable in 20 minutes by car and 45 minutes by public transportation. There are many supermarkets, such as Bristol Farms and Vons, within a 10-minute walk. There are many conveniences, such as Starbucks, McDonald’s, Subway, currency exchange services, banks, and department stores.
Costa Verde Village is made up of 6 complexes of over 1200 apartments. Students can choose between single or twin rooms. Each apartment consists of a living room, bedroom, a fully equipped kitchen including a refrigerator, a dishwasher, a microwave oven, sink, and a bathroom. In each bedroom there is a bed, a bedside table, lamp, and a closet.
The apartments have a sharing ratio of 1 bathroom between 2 students. Bed linens and towels are provided, but students must bring their own beach towels. Each apartment has a clothes washer and dryer which students may use at no extra charge. Students can make free local phone calls. To make international calls, students need to buy a phone card which will unblock the phone.

If you booked an airport pick-up, a driver from La Class Transportation will wait for you at the information desk in the baggage claims area, holding a sign with your name on it. Costa Verde Village is only a 45-minunte bus ride or a 15-minute drive to school
Directions by bus: Walk to La Jolla Village Drive (just a 1-minute walk from the complex), the sign on the front of the bus will read “Downtown S.D.” and take bus #30. Exit the bus in downtown La Jolla at Silverado Street and Hershel Ave. EC San Diego is located at 1225 Prospect Street on the second floor. When you get off the bus, go north to Prospect Street. At Prospect Street, turn right and cross Ivanhoe Avenue. We are located past the corner of Ivanhoe Avenue and next to Covo Restaurant.
Students can purchase a bus pass from several supermarkets, the rates may vary but usually start from $5 a day or $72 per month.

Early Check-in is not allowed. Management has to be informed two weeks in advance to see if there is availability to enter the unit early.
Late Check-in is allowed.
Student will receive an email the week of their arrival with their lockbox code and a check-in sheet with directions

Late check-out is not allowed. Management has to be informed two weeks prior to departure to see if they can hold the luggage for student
Students cancelling or postponing 14 days or less prior to their accommodation dates will be charged a two-week accommodation fee at the rate quoted in the price list for the accommodation booked and the accommodation placement fee.
Students leaving their accommodation must give notice in writing 4 weeks prior to termination. If the 4-week notice period is not provided a cancellation fee equal to 4 weeks of the accommodation cost will apply. After deducting the price of accommodation used at the rate quoted in the price list, including the required notice period charged at the same rate, students will be refunded the remaining accommodation costs.
Take a taxi to the apartment complex by giving taxi driver the address listed above. When you arrive, please follow the instructions given to you in your accommodation confirmation letter to access your apartment.
Instructions on the lockbox access and residence map will be sent prior to arrival.
