Description of accommodation

Liberty Point has been designed to create a comfortable and inspirational living spaces for all students.

All rooms are fitted to a high standard and include an en-suite shower, toilet and washbasin plus separate telephone and data points for high-speed Internet access. All study bedrooms share a fully fitted kitchen and living area – in each of these common areas a television with Freeview is provided.

Well located, only a few minutes' walk from the city centre, this property lies in a popular student area offering a wide range of local amenities including bars, restaurants and shops within walking distance.

  • Please come to the Accommodation Office to collect your keys – just follow the signs, located in the common room at the front of the building.

Airport Pickup

If you have booked an EC airport transfer, on arrival at Manchester airport you will have to walk out of the arrival lounge and walk to the taxi transfers stand/office just outside. Once there give the person at the desk your name and they will direct you to the taxi.

Other ways to get to your residence

Transport for Greater Manchester runs daily services on buses, trains and trams between the airport, city centre and surrounding towns between 6:00am and midnight. Black taxis are also available from outside the airport.

Notes

  • Students need to bring their own towels
  • Gender: Male and female students share common areas and some facilities, but bedrooms are single gender.
  • This residence is not available for students aged under 18 years
  • Upon arrival the outer door may be closed. In such cases please call the emergency number
  • Students will be asked to complete an Authorisation for Damage deposit form on their first day of school. Students will need their bank/credit card to complete this form. The student will be informed prior to any deduction is taken from their card
