Description of accommodation

CB1 is a modern urban development exclusively designed for Anglia Ruskin University students and used by language students in the summer. It offers a combination of apartments comprising of 6-8 single en-suite bedrooms with shared kitchen space or studio apartments with private cooking facilities. A cosmopolitan selection of shops, restaurants and supermarkets are located throughout the development and Cambridge Leisure Park is 5 minutes’ walk offering a great selection of evening entertainment and activities.

Cancellations

Cancellation prior to arrival

Students cancelling or postponing fewer than 14 days before arrival will be charged a one-week accommodation fee at the standard accommodation rate and the accommodation placement fee.

Cancellation after arrival

Students leaving their accommodation must give notice in writing four (4) weeks prior to termination. After deducting the price of accommodation used, including the required notice period charged at standard accommodation rates, students will be refunded the remaining accommodation costs. If the four-week notice period is not provided, a cancellation fee equal to four (4) weeks of the accommodation cost will apply.

Arrival Procedures

The EC entrance is at the back of the building, on Mill Park Road. The residence meet and greet will meet students at the entrance at the given arrival time. If there is nobody there to meet them, the student needs to call the number that is on the entry display by the main door which puts them in touch directly with the residence coordinator.
