Student Testimonial

Teacher Testimonial

I have been teaching English for 10 years and have worked at EC since 2003. Before I joined EC I spent some time teaching in Bolivia where I worked with University students and young people, it was a great learning experience and the reason I decided to continue teaching in the UK. When I teach I still get the same sense of excitement before a lesson and satisfaction afterwards that I did ten years ago. As well as this freshness, working at EC has given me the opportunity to meet all sorts of people from all over the world and it has been the people that have meant no two weeks in my time here have been the same. As a result of this diversity I am particularly interested in the way individual learners can be helped to realise their full potential as part of a group. When I am not working I spend most of my time with my family but when I get the chance I enjoy playing and watching football (in that order), live music, cooking for friends, cycling and reading the Sunday papers with a good cup of coffee.
