Arrival

Arrival at Airport

I want an EC airport transfer, can I arrive at any time?
If you have booked accommodation with EC, then you are entitled to an airport transfer, otherwise, you can book this separately via EC. If you are staying with your host family, you will be welcomed by an EC transportation representative and will be taken directly to your family to get acquainted. If you are staying at an EC Residence, you will also be welcome by an EC transportation representative who will accompany you and give you access to your EC apartment.

What information do I need to give to book an airport transfer?
Please provide your flight number, arrival time, terminal and airport of origin – minimum 1 week in advance.

Who will I meet at the airport?
You will meet an EC transportation representative holding an EC sign at the Arrivals Hall. You may also follow the sign to the Tour Operator Area and wait until the EC representative arrives.

What should I do if I cannot find the EC representative?
If after 10 minutes you cannot see the EC representative, just call +356 99467078 (From the information desk or a mobile phone). (Useful phrase to use: Hi, My name is (Maria Angeli). I am from (Italy). My student number is (123456). I cannot find my EC representative. I am at the information desk.)

What should I do if I have missed my flight or my flight is delayed?
You should notify EC by calling +356 99467078 (from the information desk or a mobile phone) to rearrange your transfer time and avoid additional cost. (Useful phrase to use: My name is (Maria Angeli). I am from (Italy). My student number is (123456) and my flight has been changed. My new flight number is (1234) arriving at (time).

What should I do if I haven’t booked an EC transfer?                          There is a Taxi Stand at the airport Arrivals Hall where you can book a private transfer. There are also 4 express bus services: X1, X2, X3 and X4. For more information kindly refer to the Information booth within the Arrivals Hall or visit the website: www.publictransport.com.mt
