Description of Local Area

The Harrington House Apartments are located in Davisville Village, a central location in midtown Toronto. The Davisville Village Community is a popular neighbourhood with excellent recreational facilities and shopping, as well as an active nightlife that includes bars, restaurants and movie theatres.

Description of Accommodation

The buildings offer spacious, well-maintained apartments with generous closet space. The pool and lounge area provide the perfect opportunity to relax and recharge. The award-winning landscaping provides a park-like setting for residents to enjoy. All apartments feature comfortable and quality furnishings, and plenty of storage space. Laundry is available on-site. Each apartment includes a fully-equipped kitchen with major appliances and kitchenware. Living area with sofa set, dining area, clock and rug. 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms.

The single room includes a single bed, study desk and a lamp. The single room with private bathroom (in the hallway or inside the room) includes a double bed, study desk and a TV with exclusive Netflix subscription.

Arrival and departure

  • Arrival day: Saturday
    Check in: 16:00
    Early Check-In (before 9:00am) or Late Check In (after 9:00pm) is available upon request for an additional charge of $50 per person, to be paid by cash at the Residence. Credit Cards are not accepted.
    If the flight is delayed, causing the student to arrive at Residence outside of the normal check-in times, he/she will be charged the extra fee.

Journey to school

Metro - 15 minutes approx.
Cycle - 8 minutes approx.
Walking distance - 18 minutes approx.

The most convenient way for students to get from the residence to school is by Metro, approximately a 15-minute journey. To travel to the school, follow the directions below:

1.Walk west along Davisville Avenue to Davisville Station (5-6 minutes).
2.Enter Davisville Station.
3.Board Line 1 (Yonge-University) subway and travel one stop to Eglinton Station (2 minutes).
4.Walk west along Eglinton Avenue to 124 Eglinton Avenue West (4 minutes).


Cancellations

Cancellation prior to arrival

Cancellations prior to arrival will be charged one week’s accommodation plus the accommodation placement fee.

Cancellation after arrival

Cancellations after arrival will be charged the full accommodation fees.

Airport Pickup

If you have booked accommodation with EC you must arrive at the airport between 08:00 and 20:00. Late/early arrivals may be asked to book alternative accommodation.

What information do I need to give to book an airport transfer? 
Please provide your flight number, arrival time, terminal and airport of origin – minimum 2 weeks in advance

Who will I meet at the airport? 
You will meet an EC transportation representative holding an EC sign outside the arrivals gate.

What should I do if I cannot find the EC representative?
If after 10 minutes you cannot see the EC representative, just call 416 209 8331 (from the information desk or a mobile phone). (Useful phrase to use: Hi, My name is (Maria Angeli). I am from (Italy). My student number is (123456). I cannot find my EC representative. I am at the information desk.)

What should I do if I have missed my flight or my flight is delayed? 
You should notify EC by calling 416 209 8331 (from the information desk or a mobile phone) to rearrange your transfer time and avoid additional cost. (Useful phrase to use: My name is (Maria Angeli). I am from (Italy). My student number is (123456) and my flight has been changed. My new flight number is (1234) arriving at (time).

Other ways to get to your residence

1.Walk to UP Express Pearson Airport.
2.Board UP 4084 Express Union Station train ($12.00 cash) and travel 3 stops to Union Station (25 minutes).
3.Exit train and walk to Union Station (3 minutes).
4.Enter Union Station and board Line 1 (Yonge-University) towards Finch Station (4 minutes).
5.Travel northbound to Davisville Station (16 minutes).
6.Exit Davisville Station and walk along Davisville Avenue to 111 Davisville Avenue or 141 Davisville Avenue (5-6 minutes).

Check-in process: 
Please keep in mind that you will stay in an apartment building without a front desk. Please follow our arrival procedure to ensure a smooth check-in:

  1. Please send your flight details or an estimated time of arrival as soon as known.
  2. Phone, Email, or Send us a WhatsApp message when you arrive at the airport or when you are en route to the apartment

Upon check out, please leave your keys on your desk in your room. If the keys are not returned, there is a charge for lost keys - $25 charge for lost apartment keys. $50 charge for lost fobs, $60 charge for lost bedroom keys.

 

House Rules

  • Students must be 18 years or older.
  • No smoking. No pets.
  • No overnight guests.
  • Suites are mixed gender.
  • The cleaning service will be provided once per month during the stay. Student must keep bedrooms, bathrooms and common areas clean.
  • Utilities, internet and Netflix usage is capped at $120 per month.
  • $25 charge for lost apartment keys. $50 charge for lost fobs, $60 charge for lost bedroom keys
  • Rooms with private bathroom include a double bed and a television (with exclusive Netflix subscription) in the room.
  • Complimentary toiletries are not provided.
  • Minimum stay: 4 weeks.
