Description of accommodation

Our summer residence, Phoenix, consists of a number of mixed gender self-contained flats. Each self-contained flat consists of 6 to 8 single bedrooms all with ensuite facilities and a combined kitchen/lounge. The kitchen/lounge is shared with other students. The kitchen area has recently been refurbished featuring comfortable sofas and a TV, and there are new carpets throughout the entire accomodation. All rooms have been repainted and fixtures have been updated.

Phoenix Summer Residence is a 17 minute walk from the city centre, and a 13 minute walk to school.

Journey to school

Phoenix Summer Residence is a 13 minute walk from school or a 12 minute journey using public transport.


Notes

  • Students should bring their own beach towels
  • The residence accommodates both male and female students.
  • Each guest is given a key which opens the front door of their accommodation block, the entrance to their flat and their own bedroom. Each key is individual and cannot be used to open other blocks or flats.
  • A damage deposit form must be completed on the first day of school. It is important that you bring details of a friend’s or relative’s credit/debit card with you if you do not have one yourself with a letter of authority to use this card. Payment for damages must be effected immediately.
  • All students must be aware that a member of site staff can ask for their name, what school they are from and to see their ID at anytime while on site.
  • No parties are allowed on site - any guest of a residential student must be signed in at reception (at any time of the day) and must leave site by 23:00 at the latest. No overnight guests are allowed.
