Arrival at Airport
All unaccompanied minors (under 18 year olds) are required to book an airport transfer service at time of enrolment for arrival and departure unless the student's parents provide written consent or evidence that they, a family member, or family friend to collect the student together with the appropriate identification and contact details.
I want an airport transfer, can I arrive at any time?
A transfer service from the airport to your accommodation can be pre-booked with EC English. Alternatively, taxis and shuttle services are available at the airport. Please note that if you are staying with a host family, they do not personally provide a transfer service, so this should not be requested.

What information do I need to give to book an airport transfer?
Please provide your flight number, arrival time, terminal and airport of origin – minimum 2 weeks in advance.
Who will I meet at the airport?
If you have requested an airport transfer service from the airport to your homestay or residence, the driver will be waiting for you, holding a yellow sign with green writing saying 'TOGOTO AUSTRALIA'. Do not go to buy a SIM card before locating your driver. **Please do not give your personal information to anyone without the TOGOTO sign. Do not speak to anyone and wait for your driver at the meeting point. Do not leave the airport with anyone but the driver with the TOGOTO sign. If you arrive on an INTERNATIONAL flight you will find the driver once you leave the Customs area of MELBOURNE TULLAMARINE AIRPORT. Turn to your RIGHT after leaving customs and walk down between the Travelex Money Exchange booth and the public telephones – There you will find the driver holding a yellow with green writing sign saying – TOGOTO AUSTRALIA. If you arrive on a DOMESTIC Flight you will find the driver at the luggage carousel your luggage has been designated to come out on. There you will find the driver holding a yellow with green writing sign saying – TOGOTO AUSTRALIA.

What should I do if I cannot find the driver, if I have missed my flight or my flight is delayed?
If there are any changes regarding your flight schedule you MUST contact the following number to ensure TOGOTO can guarantee your airport reception. 0409 503 646 Ellen (Togoto).  Should you have friends/relatives meet you please ensure that you contact the driver and advise them that you will be going with them. DO NOT leave the airport until you have spoken to driver. If you are unable to locate the driver or contact TOGOTO, please call Cie Thorne (EC Operations Manager) inside Australia: 0401 765 236 or +61 409 503 646 outside Australia.There may be an additional charge if we receive changes less than 48 hours prior to arrival. Booked transfers will be considered 'non-refundable' if calls to the Embassy Message Service number are received more than 90 minutes after the originally booked flight's actual flight arrival time.

 What happens on public holidays?
Schools do not open on public holidays, so if Monday is a public holiday, your first day at the school will be on Tuesday. Public holidays are listed below:
